suikoden_chaos. Sasarai belongs to Konami of America and a bunch of other people who are not me. This is meant for fun. Void where prohibited, some restrictions may apply, may contain nuts, tamper resistant cap, sealed for your protection.]
Appearance: Sasarai is small statured, (around 5'4") with short, plain brown hair that parts in the middle. He has greyish green eyes, and he always seems to be smiling in some capacity. He's slender, but not bone thin--someone who spends more time with books that with swords.
Personality: Sasarai is very plesant and polite with almost everyone; at times it's difficult to tell if he's genuinely feeling that way or if it's just an act. He will never tell you what he really thinks.
Weapons: Rings, the True Earth Rune.
Skills/Special Abilities: He's a defensive magician with few offensive spells.
Other Abilities: Makes a mean cup of tea, and knows High Harmonian.
Runes: Earth (True), Flowing
Era: Post Suikoden III
Age: 33
Sasarai was created in the solar year 444 as a human vessel for the True Earth Rune. Both he and his twin brother were cloned from the bearer of the Circle Rune and High Bishop of Holy Harmonia, Hikusaak, using ancient techniques. His brother Luc (who held the True Wind Rune) was locked away and later taken by Leknaat, but Sasarai was raised to become a Bishop, and the nature of his birth and the existance of his brother were hidden from him.
During the Dunan Unification war, he was asked to lead Harmonian forces to help Highland, however, his troops were defeated by Luc and his True Wind Rune. He teleported safely away with the True Earth Rune, and then retreated to Harmonia.
In the Second Fire Bringer War however, he waged a successful campaign through the Grasslands, being stoppped only by the combination of the Masked Bishop's secret plan, and the united forces of the Grasslands, Zexen, Tinto and the Free Knights of Karmaro. When the Masked Bishop reveals himself to be Luc and takes the True Earth Rune from him, Sasarai learns of his origin and joins forces with the Flame Champion to stop Luc.
After the war, he returns to Harmonia and remains a Bishop, but suffers from "existential angst."
